The Opportunity

Monash University is currently undergoing a number of campus-defining changes in line with our masterplan, and to support this we are seeking a Lead Planning and Design Coordinator. This position provides oversight for the briefing and design development process for new facilities, landscapes and refurbishments at our locations and is a key liaison point between customers across the University and externally.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Lend your expertise to the strategic planning and achievement of innovative public realm projects
  • Ensure designs are in line with the University’s masterplan and other strategic priorities
  • Collaborate with key customers, both internal and external, to deliver high quality and timely outcomes

This position calls for an experienced professional in architecture, landscape architecture and/or urban design with a history of developing and delivering strategically-aligned projects. You’ll demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of relevant codes and legislative requirements and can consult with stakeholders to deliver within these constraints.
