The Opportunity

The primary focus of the Audio Visual Support Officer is to provide Audio Visual support services in hybrid teaching and meeting spaces. There is also a requirement to provide cross-skilled support to desktop and complementary technologies. As the successful candidate your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing face to face and remote technical support for users of AV/IT services, resolving all customer problems and queries in an effective and timely manner
  • Working to continuously improve AV services by identifying opportunities for improvement, investigating and documenting these, and working with the Senior AV Team Leader and team members to implement the improvements
  • Maintaining accurate entries in service management tools of faults and resolution details
  • Escalation of technical queries as required to other appropriate eSolutions and university departments, ensuring they are resolved with appropriate communications back to the customer
  • Maintaining current knowledge and keeping abreast of emerging technologies and best practice in AV operations

The appointee will have prior knowledge and experience in Audio Visual support with an ITIL training foundation certification preferable. You will be customer-focused with an ability to partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and provide support.
