Short Description: Looking for Senior Support Analyst in Sydney.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • The primary duty of the Senior Support Analyst is managing Service Management stakeholders, responding to user queries and requests, which can arrive by email, ticketing tool, or over the phone. The Senior Support Analyst gathers information related to incidents or issues, then determines the root cause of the problem and devises solutions to resolve the user’s issue.
  • Participate in analysis of incoming cases/tickets, assign ticket to team members internal/external, track fixing of the tickets and verification of the fixes.
  • Tracking of SLAs, performing root cause analysis of defect and elimination of root causes, running process improvements initiatives to reduce defect/failure in order to close production issues and improve application/system/infrastructure performance.
  • Creating SOP’s for L1/L2 team and helping in automation of manual work by identifying various opportunities.
  • Able to effectively manage their time, set priorities, handle multiple issues at once and resolve problems/issues in a timely manner.
Essential

Skills

/Competencies:
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred
  • Sound knowledge SQL and UNIX
  • Well versed with SDLC. Experience in Agile and waterfall delivery model.
  • Good to have experience in Financial Crime Domain.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Additional Skills
  • Good to have ITIL foundation certification
  • Excellent customer interfacing and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills
