About You

You are an experienced People & Capability Specialist with experience in providing P&C operational advisory support to employees and managers both face to face and via telephone, and seek to take the next step in your career within a growing global business, and a growing HR team in Adelaide.

About the Role

This role is the result of growth of the Serco business in Australia and internal promotions within our team.

You will provide guidance on day to day HR issues covering all areas of the employment lifecycle and work closely with the broader HR team in delivering dedicated support to business units and contracts within Serco. As a critical support to the business all queries will need to be resolved accurately and within a timely manner, with a focus on coaching managers and build their capability. This role will provide guidance and learning to P&C team members and will partner with the business to resolve critical and complex People issues.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour;
  • Experience in providing P&C Advisory support to internal customers;
  • Ability to coach line managers through issues that are impacting their team;
  • Experience in supporting managers in all aspects of Performance Management, including underperformance, misconduct and absenteeism, including up to termination of employment, ensuring appropriate and fair processes are followed;
  • Stakeholder management skills;
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
