THE OPPORTUNITY

The main aim of this role is to provide support to our regional mobile claim’s specialists, you will build relationships both internally and externally with injured workers. You will play an integral part in helping with the injured workers return to work journey by supporting the team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involvement of the management of medical only claims
  • Provide ongoing support across our mobile claim’s specialist teams
  • Review income support overtime and allowances
  • Manage email inboxes and delegate tasks
  • Issuing timely claim discontinuance decisions
  • Liaising with external stakeholders to coordinate surgery approvals
  • Involvement in claim closure and transferals

ABOUT YOU

  • Knowledge of the relevant worker’s compensation legislation and regulations advantageous
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Negotiation and influencing
  • Empathy and understanding
  • Effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
