About the Role

This role will join DoorDash’s rapidly growing Dasher (driver) Growth team to hit our lofty acquisition goals as we scale operations in Australia. You will own the plan to hit market level targets using a multi-million dollar monthly budget across paid media and conversion initiatives. You will identify opportunities to optimise our marketing message, acquisition channel mix, and onboarding funnel incorporating your expertise in the Australian market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record using marketing levers to drive business results. You are both experienced in and excited about optimising core acquisition levers and experimenting with new ones. You think creatively and analytically, and can work collaboratively across the organisation with people at all levels, from C-level execs to associates. Lastly, you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Be responsible for growing the Dasher fleet in Australia, a vital component of maintaining healthy supply/demand dynamic and continuing DoorDash’s growth
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution on core paid channels, expand to new channels/partnerships, and increase new Dasher conversion
  • Own creative strategy for Australia to ensure we deliver the best images, value prop, and onboarding experience to potential new Dashers
  • Build, test, and scale innovative solutions for nuanced supply challenges which vary by city by week
  • Partner with our market strategy and finance leads to manage annual and quarterly media planning and goal setting

We’re excited about you because…

You have:

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of related performance marketing experience
  • A proven track record building, communicating, and executing a marketing plan
  • Experience managing towards, and balancing, performance-oriented marketing goals to improve company-level P&L outcomes
  • Experience implementing testing frameworks then developing scalable processes tied to business objectives
  • Ability to synthesise data, make data-driven decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an intuition-driven bias to action. Excel necessary, SQL is a plus
  • Proven ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias to action.
