JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity for an Executive Manager - Internal Communications has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a 14 month fixed term contract.

As an Executive Manager - Internal Communications, you will be responsible for the facilitation of internal communications to deliver consistent and timely campaigns, announcements, updates and presentations. You will manage ALDI’s internal communication channels while providing internal departments and senior leadership with recommendations on industry best practice.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will be an internal communications professional who understands the retail landscape and possesses strong leadership experience. You will have the ability to strengthen, support and consult on internal business communications, to ensure that information is effectively delivered. You will be commercially astute, professional and calm.

Selection Criteria

  • 6-8+ years’ combined internal communications and leadership experience
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field required
  • Previous retail experience highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience developing strategies and leading internal communication focused activities and campaigns across multiple channels
  • Proven ability to liaise and consult with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience providing consultative services for detailed business reports
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities
  • Ability to problem solve and use initiative
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Role Responsibilities
  • Strategically manage ALDI Australia’s internal communication
  • Consult with stakeholders and make recommendations for effective internal communication
  • Implement processes and drive decisions in order to successfully relay business initiatives
  • Facilitate internal communications to deliver campaigns, announcements, updates and presentations
  • Provide professional communication counsel to senior leaders
  • Coordinate internal communication activities including; meetings and conferences
  • Lead and professionally develop a team
This role reports to the Director - Communications.
