An exciting opportunity for a Category Planner has become available within the National Supply Chain department.

This is a Permanent Full Time role, based in ALDI Head Office in Minchinbury NSW.

Working in a in a fast paced environment, this unique role plays a key part in our supply chain with a focus on availability by having products in the right place at the right time.

The successful candidate will work with various internal and external stakeholders to improve supplier DIFOT performance.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
  • Manage efficient flow of correspondence and information with internal and external parties in regards to stock availability;
  • Proactive engagement with suppliers to improve agreed KPIs;
  • Identify opportunities for improved supply chain performance;
  • Engage supplier for key event planning;
  • Monitor supplier forecasts accuracy;
  • Support the product Phase-In and Phase-Out strategies in line with business strategy;
  • Communicate supply impact to wider business and develop improvement plan;
  • Work in accordance with the principles of the ALDI Management System.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess
  • Excellent communication skill with the ability to influence;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities;
  • Analytical mindset for problem solving and root cause analysis;
  • High attention to details;
  • Great presentation skills in front of internal and external stakeholders;
  • In-depth understanding of end to end stock planning and replenishment processes
  • Overall high level of professionalism.
  • Annual salary including superannuation and is dependent on experience. Remunerations will be prorated for the length of the fixed term.
