Due to MTM’s rapid growth, we are currently looking for a Change Management & Training Specialist to join our Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) based in the CBD. The Change Management and Training Specialist is responsible for the development and delivery of the organisational change and training activities to effectively integrate the changes introduced by the Metro Tunnel Project’s Tunnels & Stations Package into Metro’s network.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop & execute a change management strategy for Passenger Experience (stations) changes, ensuring the strategy is consistent with Metro’s obligations under the Franchisee Cooperation Agreement and Franchise Agreement Train, and provides structured support to guide the development of Service Delivery Phase documents to meet stakeholder needs
  • Develop and implement change management plans that acknowledge the different aspects of the change process – Leadership and Stakeholder Management, Communication and Engagement, Business Readiness, Job and Organisational Impacts and Frontline staff training
  • Develop a training strategy and plan to ensure frontline station staff are competent and ready for Trial Operations
  • Lead the design, development and delivery of a competency management system for safety critical activities.
  • Liaise with other Change Managers from Rail Systems Alliance and contribute to a line-based change strategy
  • Support the design, development and delivery of communications relevant to the change initiative.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have Change Management and training/assessment qualifications/accreditation. Coupled with your qualifications, you will have proven experience in Change Management and/or Learning & Development, ideally in the rail or heavy industry environment. You will have the ability to lead the design and development of blended learning programs (both technical and non-technical) as well as influence outcomes and add value to MTMs overall business improvement strategy. Your ability to enage with stakeholders at multiple levels within the organisation and report back in open forums will see you be sucessful in this role.
