About the position

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP &A) Manager is responsible for ensuring periodic FP&A activities are completed to the highest standard and provide maximum actionable insight. The purpose of this position is to actively pursue improvements in how MTM conducts its FP&A processes.

Your responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:
• Lead, develop and coach a high performing and engaged team
• Lead the preparation and submission of MTM’s monthly management reporting, shareholder reporting and Board reporting.
• Lead the development of best in class forecast financial models for the franchise period including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow
• Lead the monthly update of the assumptions underpinning the financial models to reflect an up-to-date forecast for the remainder of the franchise period
• Management of the annual budgeting process
• Management of the quarterly forecasting submission to management and shareholders
• Management of the long term financial planning process
• Assess, monitor and influence financial metrics

About you

To ensure success in this position, you will possess:
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting
• CA or CPA qualification
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Minimum ten years relevant professional experience in a FP&A leadership role for a large, complex organisation.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, combined with high attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle competing demands and work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex business issues to Executives
