Looking for an energetic and high-performing professional with experience in develop relationships with external and internal stakeholder, and supporting the team with preparing high quality reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence.

The Project officer will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting effective engagement with local councils and industry partners to implement recommendations from the 2019 Commissioner for Better Regulations Planning and Building approvals process review.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in urban planning, statutory planning, or a related discipline is highly desirable
  • Technical knowledge or industry experience of the Victorian planning system, and culture of government
  • Experience in the development and implementation of regulations, policies, and processes, preferably in an area relevant to the Planning portfolio.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2022.
