Policy, Purchasing, Performance & Reform - South.


  • To provide high-level strategic, policy and operational advice to support the Manager to manage and oversee the implementation of the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021.
  • Work closely and effectively with stakeholders within the Department of Health, other Government agencies, other jurisdictions, and the community in relation to the implementation of the Act and the delivery of voluntary assisted dying (VAD).
  • Under limited direction, lead other team members in the preparation of key documentation and advice, and manage the delivery of outputs and outcomes.
  • Support and/or represent the Manager at meetings and engagements as required.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation’s Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including the development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives and related training, ensuring that quality and safety improvement processes are in place and acted upon.

Essential Requirements:

  • Appropriate professional and/or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business administration, law, public policy or communications.
