Period of employment / Hours:

Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Children & Youth Services - Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line (South) - Hobart

Duties:

Primary Purpose / Focus :

Provide high level administrative support for teams within the Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line (ARL) including the management of some client information, and coordination of service schedules. Manage and coordinate the administrative functioning of teams and specialist liaison roles and ensure the efficient flow of information and correspondence. Coordinate a range of client related administrative services within the teams and undertake specific projects as required.

Selection criteria includes:

  • A strong knowledge of the human services sector, particularly in the area of services to vulnerable families, and an understanding of the administrative issues related to that work.
  • Sound research skills, including the ability to plan, analyse and interpret information.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise, set priorities, and meet deadlines, together with a demonstrated capacity to handle a number of tasks concurrently in a demanding environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children (Vulnerable People) Registration (Employment type)
