Your new role:

Based in Ottoway, this role is responsible for supporting all internal and external supply chain procedures, from coordinating dispatches and deliveries to managing transport documentation. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan shipments based on customer requests. 
  • Prepare stock picking and transport documents.
  • Liaise with freight providers, production, vendors and any other parties to assist with problem solving and delivery of optimum service performance to our customers.
  • Analysis and follow up all outstanding picking, outstanding receivables, and dispatch completion daily.
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximise quality of delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. 

Your experience and skills:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role.
  • Stock control/ Inventory management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Working knowledge of Distribution Centre goods receival requirements preferred but not essential.
