  • The role  

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Electronic Equipment Worker to join our team. This is a rare chance to combine your passion and knowledge with your technical skills whilst progressing your career.

    Key responsibilities 

    Major duties and responsibilities of Technical Electronic Equipment Worker

    • Preparing Drawings, Planning, designing and implementing controls for electronic equipment, assembly lines, freezers, motors etc.
    • Assembling, installing, testing, and repairing electronic and electrical equipment which includes the Machines, Audio and Video equipment for their control system.
    • Carrying out regular quality inspections to conform with regulations and safety requirements.
    • Performing tests, check for faults and repairs listed on work orders for the electronic equipment, freezers, assembly line and motors for any defective parts, wires and other electronic and electrical instruments.
    • Determining the circuits, circuit breakers and all other equipment used.
    • Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance inspections and repairs for the electronic and electrical equipments.
    • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods to help with installation.
    • Ensuring that maintenance tools are in good working condition and are stored securely in the maintenance room.
    • Making repairs in a timely professional manner.
    • Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
    • Maintaining daily tool inventory records.

    Requirements – 

    • Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communications or a related qualification with 2 years previous experience in a similar role. 
    • Able to work Independently, as well as with a team. 
    • Good organisational and communication skills 
    • Excellent communicator and analytical thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions. 
    • High level of flexibility and a positive approach to the challenging demands of high-growth outcome 
    • Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Australia will be preferred.
