Pet Cremation Services

4 positions available both Full-Time & Casual Positions

Located at Bacchus Marsh or Rowville office

Uniform provided

Our Client Care team is growing, and we are looking for dedicated, compassionate animal lovers looking to fulfil our clients’ needs in pet aftercare.

Four shifts available

  • Monday - Friday Full time 11:00 - 7:00pm
  • Monday - Friday Full time 9:00 - 5:00pm
  • Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday 8:00 - 4:00pm
  • Monday - Sunday Casual shifts available

About the role

This is a phone-based customer service role with both incoming and outgoing calls in a fast-paced environment. You will also be assisting clients who visit our office to bring their pets into our care or to attend viewings. 

As the first point of contact, we require a high standard of personal presentation and an empathetic and compassionate phone manner.

  • Coordinate and schedule pet aftercare bookings with both the public and vet clinics
  • Assist clients who bring pets to our premises
  • Prepare our viewing facilities for client visits
  • Provide a first point of contact service for families regarding initial steps in arranging cremation services for their pets
  • Work closely with our Preparation, Crematorium and Area Manager teams to ensure we deliver on our promises, every time, every day
  • Carry out accurate data entry and payment processing tasks
  • Undertake general office administration duties as needed

To be successful in this role you will

  • Be able to prioritise and manage numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Be comfortable with occasionally handling deceased pets
  • Have excellent communication skills who can support our clients over the phone with an empathetic, caring and professional phone manner
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of writing skills
  • Be a supportive and positive team member with a "can do" attitude 
  • Be reliable, organised and flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Have intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office experience is essential)
  • Have the desire and ability to learn new skills and absorb knowledge quickly
  • Be physically fit as this role will require handling pets from time to time
  • Be sensitive to grieving people, their values and beliefs and their expression of grief
