Our Wollongong based client is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst who is seeking to advance their skills in Cloud based technologies.

This is an exciting time to join this organisation as the embark on a major Data Transformation Program which will see you working with the lastest technologies. You will be part of a collaborative team and mentored by a Senior Data Analyst in a varied role across Data Analysis, Reporting and Data Integration/Engineering focused on delivering higher levels of reporting capability across the organisation. This will invovle engaging with SME's across various departments to gather requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools. There are also a number of high profile data migration projects you will be invovled in as they move their systems to a Snowflake data cloud environment.

Your responsibilities include:-

  • Provide support assistance toward the design and architecture of a maturing BI environment
  • Train users on data discovery, report creation and usage of Power BI, increasing the usage of the tool as a self-service platform
  • Support the design, development and maintenance of their Snowflake data warehouse environment, data pipelines and cloud architecture.
  • Develop robust data models and improve the orgnaisations modelling capabilities
To be successful in this role you will be a problem solver who understands data integration principles and the business logic behind data transfer.

Your Skills And Experience Will Include
  • 1-2 years rsquo; experience in the data analysis of enterprise level systems
  • Experience with AWS, Python and SQL
  • A knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel
  • Ideally experience in the development of Power BI (or Tableau / Qlik) dashboards and reports
  • Understanding of Snowflake Data Warehouse concepts/ methodologies
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and work to deadlines
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
