Based in our Wollongong office, reporting to the Associate Structural Engineer you will be given the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of concept and detailed Structural design and documentation on a diverse range of projects, whilst taking responsibility for your projects and expanding your portfolio.

As the Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible to:

• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders as necessary;

• Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes;

• Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision;

• Provide structural engineering design service to clients as necessary;

• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment;

• Prepare project briefs, scopes of work and fees under limited supervision;

Your experience will include:

• Engineering degree in structural engineering;

• Ideally 3-5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience;

• A self-motivated, technically competent individual able to work independently but also comfortable in a team environment;

• Excellent communication and report writing skills;

• Structural design across concrete, timber, steel and masonry;

• Familiarity and/or experience with our preferred software packages: RAPT, Microstran, Inducta, Strand7.


• Residential and industrial design;

• Educational facilities;

• Able to maintain effective client relationships;

• Collaborative / Team approach.
