Woods & Co Hospitality have partnered with this unique, retro, fast-paced gourmet establishment who focuses an exciting, fresh menu, efficient service, and quality food. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience as an Executive Chef in a busy establishment(s), works well in a team environment, confident with a variety of fusion cuisines incorporated into a modern Australian menu, tapas styles, fast-paced late night finger foods and willing to be a part of a really skilled and welcoming team.

What do you do?

  • Have strong work ethics and a can-do attitude

  • Assist with stocktake, ordering and food costings
  • Experience mentoring and training and encouraging staff
  • Demonstrate experience in a high volume, face-paced environment

  • Have experience with a variety of international cuisines

What do you need?

  • 3 years experience as a head chef in busy, fast-paced, late night venue
  • An understanding of the operations of a kitchen including stock control, ordering and service processes
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Ability to work past midnight
  • Experience working each section of the kitchen
  • Willingness to grow with the business
  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Flexible working commitments across all 7 days including weekends and public holidays
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High standards of food presentations
  • Be very well presented
  • Creativeness and willingness to inspire with new menu ideas
