Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for a full-time position within the AFP Logistics Command as a Team Member in CFO Fleet. As a Team Member in the AFP you will be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

The key duties of the position include
The Team Member, CFO Fleet assists in a variety of fleet management functions. The role requires a highly motivated individual who is able to work effectively in a busy and demanding environment. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide quality service in relation to all fleet enquiries
  • Provide advice in relation to policies and procedures regarding fleet vehicles
  • Assist in ensuring that the AFP complies with Commonwealth Government Fleet obligations
  • Contributing to and influencing key Fleet Management elements of the Home Affairs shared services efficiencies model.
  • Working with AFP state fleet administrators to deliver efficient and effective fleet management activities
  • Maintaining currency in subject matter expertise through ongoing professional development and learning opportunities outside the formal education process
  • Providing consistent high quality customer service to internal AFP and external stakeholders that builds a positive reputation and trust in the business area
  • Customer focused and effective communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Operate and navigate technological applications and systems
  • Prepare reports, with appropriate conclusions and recommendation
  • Other duties as required
