The Opportunity

Working in a motivated team, you’ll lead our talented Bioreactor & Bioenergy teams which provides a range of support services to enable the operators on site to effectively manage the resource recovery on site. In your day-to-day activities, you’ll be responsible for the management of operations of the Woodlawn Bioenergy Facility - providing resources, visible leadership and commitment to ensure efficient, cost-effective and profitable operations that are safe, legally, environmentally and ethically responsible.

In short you are a leader that enables the operations team in a way that ensures sustainable outcomes in all aspects of the business operations.

You will work in the Woodlawn Leadership team, to assist auditors and provide data that will be included in reports to regulators. And in the long run, you’ll contribute to a sustainable future for Australia.

You’ll need:


  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
  • Post graduate qualifications in business management
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of landfill gas engines or other large reciprocating plants.
  • Experience using SAP Plant Maintenance and Stock Management modules

Personal attributes

  • Effective level communication Skills (Written & Verbal).
  • Effective level interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify, resolve issues, mediate conflict, time manage and make decisions
  • Experience in plant maintenance and system management
  • Effective budgeting and cost control management
  • Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety
  • A sound working knowledge of operational management in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation and regulations specific to the area of work.
