The opportunity

ASQA is the national regulator for vocational education and training (VET).

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Support Officer to join our ACT office.

In the role of Administrative Support Officer (ACT Office), you will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Regulatory Insights and Impact Group, as well as other Directors located in the ACT office.

You will carry out a range of tasks including:
• reception duties and support to onsite managers and visitors as required
• developing, maintaining and monitoring registers, checklists and folders
• monitoring ACT office email inboxes
• completing accurate and complete data entries within agreed timelines
• undertaking local records management activities and assisting with IT and technology related matters
• coordinating meeting arrangements
• managing local assets, acting as the local purchasing officer and booking travel requests
• draft communication and correspondence as required.

About you

You are an enthusiastic and proactive individual who has experience undertaking administrative support activities and working in a team environment.

You are a clear communicator, proficient with the use of IT and various systems and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
