We are seeking someone who is passionate about producing high-quality research and providing advice and insights for the ACMA to make better decisions. You will develop and drive research that delivers forward-looking advice on a range of regulatory, policy and market matters. You will need to work and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the research makes an impact and leads to better decisions.

We are seeking an experienced researcher that can span both regulatory analysis and market analysis. The position will provide high quality strategic and regulatory analysis and expert advice to contributing and delivering a regulatory futures work program. In addition, the position will provide high quality market analysis to support the market analysis research program.

The key duties of the position include
The Regulatory Futures, Markets and International team at the ACMA is seeking an experienced regulatory researcher that also has experience or the ability to undertake market analysis.

In this role, you will develop high-quality research and advice to support decision making across the ACMA. You will be part of a highly experienced team of researchers, undertaking regulatory and market analysis across the communications and media sector. You will engage effectively with internal stakeholders to understand the priority research questions and develop high-quality regulatory and market advice to answer these questions. Your effective communication skills mean the research is tailored to the audience and provides insights to support decision making. You will work effectively with the team and contribute positively to the ACMA's culture.
