This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments with the possibility of extension(s).

This pool may initially be used to fill a 12 month vacancy in the diabetes team, while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.

Position Profile: The Dietitian, as part of a multidisciplinary team, provides nutrition and dietetic services in assigned clinical areas, including diabetes, and within scope of practice. The role facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. The position practices as a Dietitian as per the Dietitians' Association of Australia National Competency Standards for Entry Level Dietitians and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) policies and guidelines.

We are seeking applicants with sound clinical and strong professional and team skills. Experience in a paediatric setting is desirable but not essential. Previous unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to apply.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care.

CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State's only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children's Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
