Reporting to the Digital Learning Ecosystem Manager the Digital Learning Eco-System Specialist is responsible for supporting the development of CA ANZ Digital Learning Eco-System including the Learning Management System, ecosystem add-ons and other educational technology systems. Enhancing the technology capability of our LMS will ensure the successful delivery of the CA Program and candidate learning experience.

This is an 18-month fixed-term, full-time position with the view for potential extension following the contract ending. Location for this position is flexible however candidates must have AU working rights.

The Opportunity

  • Supplying technical support and guidance to candidates, members and staff in using CAANZ's Learning Management System and associated systems, including the design and delivery of training programs and resources
  • Aiding the Digital Learning Eco-System Manager to collaborate and liaise with providers (including regular meetings to discuss ongoing performance and product roadmap items) to ensure the availability of applications and the delivery of exceptional service to members and students
  • Proactively consulting with a range of internal and external educators and subject-matter experts to continuously enhance e-learning platform offerings
  • Collaboratively partner with Education Technology Initiatives, Program Delivery, Online Assessment and Academic teams on course creation and administration, as well as developing usage and sharing standards for education learning objects
  • Assisting the Digital Learning Eco-System Manager to inform the enhancement, design and redesign of components of the DLE

Great To have

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience formulating, administering, and supporting a web-based Learning Management System
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant/field or an equivalent level of knowledge and experience gained through a combination of education and training
  • High-level problem-solving skills combined with the ability to show initiative and to be adaptive and innovative in the development and support of educational technological solutions in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated experience in technical and report writing, and the ability to develop training material and support resources
  • Ability to provide staff and learners with regular weekend and evening support via a flexible roster for educational webinar technologies
  • Exposure to Agile software development methodologies and a willingness to expand knowledge into SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) CA ANZ's preferred agile methodology
  • An understanding of learning theories, pedagogical practices and their relationship to emerging educational technologies
  • Experience collaborating with a centralised IT department on the enhancement of platforms, integrations and escalation of system issues
  • Experience testing, documenting and communicating with stakeholders on regular software releases
