About the Role

Our Customer Service Officers play a fundamental role in providing exceptional advice, sales and customer service to our members. In this role you will bring your human touch to all aspects of the customer experience and deliver on our purpose.

This is a full-time relief role, where you will also be required to travel to any branch in the network (including interstate and regional branches). You may also be required to work rotating Saturday's at Brookvale.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise our members of their policy benefits and any changes that may occur to ensure our members are receiving the best possible service
  • Perform face to face needs-based selling to our members for HCF health insurance policies and Life and Travel policies
  • Achieve and exceed sales and service targets
  • Perform telephone and email sales including business development activities
  • Provide first contact resolution in all customer interactions
  • Maintain accurate membership information in accordance with HCF policy and procedures

About you:

We are looking for natural relationship builders who have a drive to meet and exceed sales targets along with providing exceptional customer service.

  • Demonstrated experience or an aspirational drive to sell to members and provide a great customer experience
  • Previous experience in a customer service and sales environment
  • Competent in using CRM computer systems or the ability to quickly learn complex computer systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt positively to a frequently changing work practices and needs
  • Have the flexibility to work six weeks fulltime to participate in comprehensive training
