About the role

The Insurance Business Unit of WorkSafe Victoria works to ensure claims are managed effectively and injured workers returned to safe and sustainable work.

The Premium Product Lead is responsible for maximising the value and delivery of the premium products and changes, specifically across premium systems, premium reporting and premium products. This key role will develop programs and initiatives that impact on programs or major functional areas, engaging and work closely with internal partners in delivering a range of major premium programs, initiatives and requirements. With the development of future systems for WorkSafe, the Premium Product Lead will partner with whole delivery teams including the Strategic Implementation partners and Technology Vendors.

  • Leading complex programs and providing sound strategic advice around system upgrades and process improvements for premium
  • Provision of leadership, advice and subject matter expertise on key insurance system related policy issues
  • Coordinate and have accountability for the integration of premium systems and data through the CRM systems integrating insurance, self- insurance, safety and licencing

About you

  • You will have significant expertise and knowledge of the Victorian Premium Model with a strong understanding of the current WorkSafe premium design and operational processes.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of Best Practice Premium systems
  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic communication, interpersonal and consultative skills to a broad range of stakeholders.
