The Marketing Manager - Qantas Wine will be responsible for managing and executing marketing activities for a range of our wine, beer, spirits and gourmet food brands. This role involves strategic campaign planning and the development and execution of all marketing collateral in support of each partner to deliver on our commercial objectives. You will be responsible for the development of all campaigns through-the-line, and executing on a full range of deliverables including emails, digital assets, creative briefs, promotional calendar management and bookings, dispatching, peer reviews, social and PR. You will drive campaign planning and build a detailed understanding of the Frequent Flyer member base to help develop and optimise future successful, strategic, insight-driven marketing activity.

You’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail
  • 3-5 years’ experience in critically reviewing marketing collateral to determine fit with Qantas brand and ensure they are commercially and legally sound.
  • Sound analytical and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal commercial and product stakeholders, and external clients/agencies/partners
  • Experience in using email build, website CMS management and delivery systems
  • Experience in dealing with Legal and in understanding and communicating legal and commercial constraints to partners.
  • Negotiation skills - balancing Loyalty objectives and the member proposition for successful outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners
