Outstanding Permanent Opportunity for Lead Reliability Engineer to join global pharmaceutical org. to lead/implement site reliability strategic work.

About the Organisation

Operating as a progressive and highly regarded multi-national pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation renowned for its innovation & quality marketing of instantly recognisable quality products, our client is experiencing rapid growth in its operations.

Due to increased growth, our client is now seeking a Lead Reliability Engineer to lead & implement reliability engineering strategy for the site. The main objective of this position is to implement a strategy and liaise with global stakeholders to support global systems, procedures and best practice to continuously improve site performance.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Plant Manager, key responsibilities include the following:

  • Implement a Site Reliability Strategy, leverage with global stakeholders to support & improve continuous improve performance.
  • Lead site reliability engineering supporting global systems, company best practice and procedures.
  • Manage reliability on site & provide reliability based maintenance expertise to improve processes, facility reliability & functionality.
  • Review & standardize all PM tasks across the site to improve plant reliability and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in plant efficiency, reliability & performance.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Sound expertise in reliability centered maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge & understanding of regulatory requirements in manufacturing such as cGMP, GLP, OH&S, ISO 9002 etc.
  • Specific industry experience in pharmaceutical, food, FMCG or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing)
