  • Location: Various locations from Gladstone to Mareeba. Positions may be site specific or across multiple services.
  • Hours: Permanent Part-time and Full time hours are available, depending on location and candidate availability (up to 2.96 EFT/FTE)

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who are motivated to make a difference and passionate to set new standards in care.

  • New and exciting role working closely with the leadership team to drive quality improvements.

Description

The core responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead process improvement to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the residential aged care facility
  • Ensure that the auditing cycle is maintained, action plans and recommendations are developed, implemented and evaluated
  • Supporting the Service Manager, ensure services meet identified needs and standards of quality care
  • Review and maintain service self-assessment in support of accreditation
  • Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

With a strategic outlook, you will drive governance and quality with the aim of delivering person-centred, high-quality care to each of Blue Care’s clients & residents.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent communication and clinical problem solving skills
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
  • An NDIS worker screening clearance
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Whilst the influenza vaccination is currently not a requirement, it is highly likely the vaccination will be a seasonal requirement moving into future years. We strongly encourage all employees across Aged Care and Community Services to obtain the seasonal influenza vaccination to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the vulnerable people in our care as well as their own.
