We have an exciting newly created opportunity for an Area Sales Manager - Trade Service Centre (TSC) to join our team in Victoria and be responsiblefor our North Western regionReporting to the Victorian Trade Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible to generate sales of Ausreo products focussing both on short and long-term horizons within the construction market. The Area Sales Manager will co-ordinate all functions of the company to fulfil contract supply requirements and will maintain relationships with key decision makers, with current and prospective clients with a view to leverage those relationships to promote Ausreo products and services to generate sales at maximum margin.

The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Identify customer decision makers and leverage relationship opportunities to generate sales in line with company pricing strategies
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with decision makers through different channels, such as technical selling, presentations, multimedia, sponsorships, attendance to building industry functions and other corporate events
  • Liaise with Sales team members and Service Centres to collate advice on potential customers and projects and negotiations on supply agreements in line with pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the Victorian Trade Service Centre Manager on specific or specialists’ project in the region to establish other service centres or deploy territory strategies.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to supply value add products and services such as accessories using various sources including customers and leads.

To Be Successful

You will possess commercial knowledge of products and services within the Construction and Building Industry and have a proven track record in field sales and achievements. A thorough knowledge of reinforcement and significant consultative selling and business development experience gained in building and construction industries will be highly regarded.

If you are customer orientated, capable of competently liaising with internal staff and customers in a professional and pleasant manner, goal-orientated and have excellent communication and negotiation skills, then this role is for you.
