The Role:

We are currently looking for a full time Tool Repair Technician to carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs to major brands of power, air and mechanical tools including Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, Festool, De Walt and many more.

If successful, you will provide high quality customer service and technical expertise operating from a retail store environment.

You will bring your previous knowledge and experience and be able to assess repair requirements and conduct in-house repairs. You will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and repairing a range of tools
  • Disassembling tools
  • Using various methods to test and identify problems
  • Rebuilding defective parts and rewiring electrical systems
  • Managing stock of parts
  • Handling customer queries and offering solutions

Does this sound like you:

  • Proven ability to repair a variety of tools
  • Excellent trouble shooting, diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Thirst for product and technical knowledge
  • Commitment to providing high level customer service
  • Exceptional attention to detail

A Trade qualification in the electrical field will be highly regarded but not essential
