We have an exciting opportunity for an Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Wetherill Park. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for repair, testing and preventive maintenance and testing of machines with a strong emphasis on all safety and quality standards of Ausreo within a manufacturing environment. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the execution of regular and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing equipment in NSW business units.
  • Execute all maintenance and repairs as per Ausreo policies and working closely with Management team all on Operational matters with regard to repair and maintenance activity.
  • Work alongside Supervisor and other Maintenance team members allowing for transparency, regularity and clarity on a maintenance program for NSW business units, ensuring continuous improvement of the maintenance process.
  • Uphold Ausreo's Value Offer to customers in the normal course but especially where sound continuous and safe working manufacturing equipment is concerned.
  • Maintain site machinery to ensure safety of personnel, site and equipment.
  • Carry out repair, testing and preventive maintenance and testing of machines and equipment including:
    • Hydraulics, pneumatics, valves
    • Gearboxes and bearings
    • Rollers, conveyors, pulleys etc.
    • Fault-finding and repairing malfunctions of mechanical equipment and plant

      To Be Successful

  • Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Fitting
  • Experience preferred in Reinforcing Steel or similar industry such as manufacturing (training will be provided)
  • Strong Work Ethic and Reliable
  • Safety conscience
  • Available to work Afternoon Shift
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully as part of a team
