About the role

The Reverse Logistics Controller is a key supporting role within the Supply and Logistics chain team that is responsible for managing day to day activities to ensure all warehouse returns are managed and any corrective action is also managed efficiently.

The position will be accountable for all day to day warehouse and triage operational requirements associated with retail supply chain systems and their integrations with internal and external systems. The position is critical to support everyday operations across the retail supply and logistics team and to ensure we keep running an efficient and supporting our retail outlets.

What will you be doing?

  • Day to day operational management of returns and triage whilst ensuring compliance to policy.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to new and established vendor engagement models including 4 PL and reverse logistics management.
  • Take operational control to ensure that financial goods receipt versus invoice receipt reconciliation for vendors occurs in a timely and accurate manner in relation to all warehouse returns.
  • Provide reporting to support vendor returns at all warehouses.
  • Provide direct support to outlets via telephone or email to support returns from customers.
  • Ensure goods are managed to end of life and product life cycle has been strictly managed to agreement.

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or another related discipline are desirable.
  • Supplier engagement and vendor management/coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience in materials planning and inventory management, preferably using advanced planning systems (SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Broad understanding of supply and value chains relating to reverse logistics.
  • Typical retail and supply chain industry knowledge and skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
