Shoalhaven City Council is seeking an Administration Assistant to work part time on a 4-month contract to assist Northern Aquatics Team.

About the role

This is a fixed term position (4 months) 24 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 9.00am to 5.30pm. Located at Bomaderry Indoor Sports Centre.


Reporting directly to the Northern Leisure Manager, the focus of this position is to provide high- level administrative support to the Aquatics Manager and the Swim and Fitness team

Skills & Experience

In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Certificate III in Office Administration (or equivalent) and relevant experience
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to consult, share information and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to demonstrate customer service values
  • Demonstrated effective time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within deadlines.
  • Proven skills in the use of Microsoft Applications – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to take Minutes of Meetings and transcribe notes from Meetings.

This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check. Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained.
