The Role
As the IT Data Architect you’ll be responsible for establishing the core technology foundations required in support of data management. In addition, this role will make significant contribution towards the success of Intelligent Network Enablement Automation (INEA) and SCADA upgrade programs.

The Data Architect works closely with the business at a senior level to facilitate Architecture options analysis and decisions to ensure solutions are designed to meet business needs, project and program requirements as aligned to the Digital Strategy. This role is key to engagement and communication between the Business and technology Stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivering business value, are consistent with the enterprise architecture and architecture principles and support the Digital Strategy.

Your Skills And Experience

  • You will have extensive data/information management Architecture knowledge and skills demonstrating;
  • Strong understanding of data management for operational and informational purposes – including: reference and master data management; data integration methods and technologies; and data architectures to support information, analytics, and insights.
  • Experience of cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies preferred – especially Azure and AWS
  • Good understanding of solutions for analytics, data exploration/visualisation, and business intelligence. Awareness of quantitative modelling, AI and machine learning desirable
  • A deep understanding of document and content management – including information lifecycle management, document generation, digital collaboration/workflow and signing, storage and metadata, enterprise search.
  • Preferably a balance between high-level strategic architecture and detailed technical architecture skills
  • Appreciation for the business drivers and impacts of architecture

Your ability to establish, communicate and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required together with a qualification in Tertiary qualification in Information Technology with an emphasis on systems architecture.
