The Opportunity

Council is seeking a Corporate Planning Support Officer to join the Community & Corporate Planning Department. This position will play a key support role to help ensure corporate planning and performance reporting runs smoothly and efficiently across Council.

This Corporate Planning Support Officer will:

  • Coordinate the maintenance and management of Councils corporate planning and reporting system
  • Provide administration support to the Corporate Planning and Reporting team;
  • Assist in Community and Corporate Planning projects, within scope of the position and with support of senior members of the team;
  • Assist in the development and delivery of related training across the organisation such as, but not limited to the Corporate Planning system training; and
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of Local Government Performance Reporting Framework (LGPRF).

About You

To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administration or project officer role;
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to gain co-operation and liaise with stakeholders to discuss specialist matters;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to contribute to corporate planning and performance reporting functions; and
  • High level of capability and experience in the administration of computer systems and processes.
