JOB DESCRIPTION

efm is the largest 4PL in Australia and New Zealand, leveraging sophisticated proprietary technology, highly skilled people and trusted carrier partnerships in the delivery of end-to-end integrated supply chain management to provide immediate and sustainable value for its customers.

At the heart of our service offering are our people and our promise to deliver a no better logistics experience. As part of that commitment, we are looking for a Programmer Analyst who will deliver and embed operational excellence across the business with a focus on enhancing interactions, processes and reporting for all functional teams and customers.

You’ll be pursuing the discovery, planning, managing, evaluation, and improvement of our internal systems, tools, practices, and processes to ensure we are effective and efficient as a business,

On a daily basis, you will cover multiple responsibilities such as business projects, business systems configuration [1] and software ownership, internal process improvement, cross-functional process improvement, project management, executive reporting, strategic integration as well as ad-hoc reporting for management.

This will look like cleaning and doing analysis on system data using SQL queries, and using that data to drive or validate business process improvement, or helping automate manual tasks or work done outside the system, and ultimately reducing wastage to support the business.

You will engage subject-matter experts, gather, and analyse complex data and business processes to identify opportunities and develop a pipeline of prioritised recommendations for improvement and then deliver these improvements across the business.

In these pursuits you will identify critical constraints within the business and deliver kaizen and waste reduction improvements to remove those constraints whilst focusing on quality and operational excellence.

Working across the business and empowered by the leadership team, you will define and simplify existing operations and improve overall usability and stability of processes at efm.
