We are a digital marketing agency based in Sydney’s Inner West. We provide personalised and comprehensive marketing, design and technology solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. We’re a tight-knit and friendly team that collaborates well and works within a systematic process. We are looking for a passionate programmer to work across predominantly Wordpress, PHP and some system administration. Most of your work will be supporting the design and development team.
We're looking to hire a Web Developer/System Administrator
Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of web application development using WordPress / Woocommerce.
  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, and frontend workflow.
  • Knowledge in cross-browser / cross-device compatibility is a must.
  • Knowledge of the Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud, WHM Cpanel, mysql
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and MS365 administration.

Web Development Functions:

  • Work on new or existing Wordpress/Woocommerce websites and web applications.
  • Coding and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to each client's specifications. Support existing Laravel and PHP websites and apps.
  • Engaging in team or one-on-one meetings to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Plan, conceptualise, estimate, collaborate, document.
  • Engage in thorough testing of new developments.
  • Liaise, inform and work effectively with the development team and sales/marketing.
  • Communicate and manage tasks and time tracking.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving for technical challenges.

System Administration Functions:

  • Maintaining websites within the organisation, updating plugins and CMS versions in Wordpress as well as custom applications.
  • Ensure web servers, hardware, and software are operating accurately.
  • Maintain Google Cloud Instances for our clients
  • Manage Domains and DNS services
  • Manage the Helpdesk system
  • Implement and maintain server backups and logs
  • Manage WHM and Cpanel on server instances
  • Manage Mailgun Email Service configuration
  • Consult on disaster recovery and develop in-house training material and plans
