Acquisition Growth Marketer

espresso is looking for an Acquisition Growth Marketer who can help build one of Australia’s fastest growing consumer electronics companies!
What is espresso?

espresso is an early-stage, high-growth startup. Our first product, the espresso Display, is a category-leading portable monitor that is the best way to leave your office behind and work from anywhere. We have recently set up our global eCommerce operations and are now at a critical growth stage. We live and breathe our products and would love to share the excitement of launching a new product to customers with the right candidate.
Your Role:

Are you a growth marketer who loves designing web funnels and constantly reviewing Google Analytics to figure out what that next experiment is? You will be responsible for the acquisition and conversion of our customers, across all markets. The ideal candidate will be able to develop long term growth channels whilst identifying insights and trends in consumer purchasing behaviour.

  • Ownership of performance metrics. Develop and plan KPI’s or goals to achieve growth and manage the day-today performance of eCommerce sites using tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Adwords, Optimise.
  • Assist the Head of Growth in executing our affiliate marketing program and identifying the highest performing channels.
  • Manage the ongoing optimisation of the eCommerce sites including CRO, Content SEO, Checkout, A/B testing and UAT, to ensure our sites are operating at maximum potential.
  • Continuously analyze, scrutinize, and test to drive results including messaging, segmentation, creative testing, and UX testing.
  • Monitor and analyze performance overall against traffic, ROAS, and CAC goals. Proactively make and implement recommendations for optimisation to drive down CAC.
  • Continually work to strategise and improve the customer journey on our websites by providing a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide analysis of digital marketing campaigns, developing recommendations for streamlining efforts and maximising returns with new product launches.
  • Help direct and test new creative across all paid socials.
  • You will be an expert at building high performing Facebook & Google Ads campaigns that deliver high-quality results
  • Evaluate potential marketing opportunities and partnerships by modeling expected impact on key metrics
  • Assist in setting campaign goals and optimising performance for key performance indicators while achieving weekly forecasts.


Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Customer Acquisition/ SEM/ Growth Marketing within a high-growth eCommerce or direct-to-consumer business
  • Previous team leadership managing direct reports
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance team - always ready to hustle!
  • Experience with digital analytics tools and CRO platforms. Understanding of key conversion rate optimisation principles.
  • Sound understanding of eDM strategy and flow management.
  • Experience working with paid media platforms, including programmatic display, paid search, and paid social (Facebook/Instagram).
  • Ability to connect qualitative and quantitative sources to drive impactful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate findings into strategic actions.
  • Driven by real insight, strategic thinking, and creative excellence.
  • A team player who is organised and able to effectively prioritise your workload
