Role Description:Thinking Loud is looking for a highly-skilled Account Manager to join our Sydney team on a permanent full-time basis to organize and coordinate the promotion of cultural activities within music, entertainment, fashion, arts & creative disciplines.

Clients include global brands such as Boiler Room, Red Bull, JBL, Bacardi, Jameson, Young Henry’s, Wrangler and Ben Simmons’ DoMore Project, as well as a roster of artists and creatives that features the likes of Sampa The Great, Genesis Owusu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Flight Facilities, Hayden James, Jorja Smith, Winston Surfshirt, AJ Tracey, Chet Faker, Cosmos Midnight and Cut Copy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement projects and cultural programs for client accounts.
  • Monitoring performance of the activities undertaken to ensure all cultural programs/projects remain on track for a successful rollout.
  • Working with cross-functional, in-house teams and contract staff to plan and implement innovative and creative PR campaigns in line with set KPIs.
  • Ongoing client contact: managing day to day expectations and requests of PR agency clients, covering consumer brand, art galleries/exhibitions, record label and event/entertainment accounts.
  • Providing support and representing Thinking Loud at events, conventions and exhibitions, including out of hours and weekend activities when requested.
  • Monitoring expenditure on client accounts and budget planning.
  • Managing WIP Meetings (client and internal).
  • End to end management of key PR projects and retained client accounts.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with media to deliver considered, top-tier editorial output for artists and performers across music, arts, mainstream, lifestyle and pop culture publishers.
  • Managing and maintaining internal agency process documents and tools, including WIP documents, run sheets, worksheets, timelines, KPI tackers and content schedules are updated.
  • Leading on client reporting, ensuring agency tools are up to date to allow timely and effective client communication and campaign evaluation.
  • Assisting where possible in building the agency client roster of music, creative arts and consumer brand clients and creating new business leads through existing contacts and research.
  • Supervising and advising junior staff members and interns within your team.
