Are you an experienced Trainer/Assessor? This is an opportunity to join the Chubb team where you will benefit from employment stability, progression opportunities as well a range of additional benefits that come with working with a market leader.

The role

Based in Jandakot you will be responsible for delivering nationally recognised training and assessment to our clients across Western Australia and will ideally come from a similar role within the Fire industry. This role will also require travel to locations in South Australia and the Northern Territories as needed. The training programs focus on warden training, emergency evacuation procedures, first attack firefighting, fire drills and delivering safety manuals and evacuation diagrams.

This Will Involve

  • Delivering site specific training in emergency evacuation procedures, first attack firefighting, warden training, drills and evacuation diagrams
  • Delivery of training programs and the assessment of participant competency within vocational range
  • Production of evacuation diagrams and emergency response procedures
  • Performing other concurrent roles such as training resource developer, subject matter expert, etc.

You Will Need The Following
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Trainer / Assessor role (mandatory)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • The ability to travel interstate – currently 1 week out of 4
  • First Aid certified
  • Industry exposure and experience
  • Fire and Rescue and Fire awareness
  • Emergency and Medical Response
  • Evacuations and diagram drawings
  • Safety manual writing and design
  • Current Driver's Licence
