Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant (Risk) within our People and Culture team on a fixed term contract / secondment until the 17 December 2021.

You will identify and manage the extent of the risk register and mitigation strategies for project delivery for the Human Resources program across the NAB enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct risk management and assurance activities across all components of delivery
  • Engage with the business at enterprise level regarding risk identification and resolution
  • Provide advice, guidance and support on:
  • Review, monitor, and report on risk, control gaps or deficiencies escalating where required
  • Maintain the risk and issues register and report on project risks
  • Obligations/regulations - maintain traceability matrix
  • Assist day-to-day with management of execution risk 
  • Key liaison point with the business for considering and managing delivered risk, including undertaking Change Impact and Business Impact Assessments
  • Impact on business risk profile and controls required
  • Monitoring and controls phase for all project risks

What you will bring

  • Significant experience in a Risk Management position, ideally on a large HR/change transformational program
  • Extensive experience designing risk profiles, controls and mitigation plans
  • Proven experience in navigating complexity and bringing together moving parts and stakeholders to deliver a successful outcome
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at executive and senior level
  • Strategic thinker who can develop operational plans to strategic objectives and align to core processes
