POSITION SUMMARY:
Role purpose
This role is part of an innovative and collaborative cross-government team that is designing and testing new ways of partnering with communities to address entrenched disadvantage and deliver local solutions to local challenges. It also contributes to the design and delivery of policies and programs that build connected and inclusive communities.

The successful applicant will have high level stakeholder management and policy skills, project management, research and analytical skills, and skills in the monitoring and evaluation of programs. The successful applicant will have experience in providing authoritative policy advice to senior executives, and will play a critical role representing the work of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing within the cross-government team responsible for place-based reform.

The role will contribute to and lead packages of work for both the cross-government team (in the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions), and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
