Hailing from a solid background developing digital products in best practice web companies and a great track record of delivering products that delight users and meet defined business objectives, you’re a solid collaborator who loves working with a team and can manage multiple conflicting priorities in an effective way.

You have incredible communication skills where you’ve been consulting with and influencing senior and diverse stakeholders and you’re incredibly organised. Drawing on your experience in client-facing, product support roles, you have an innate ability to define solutions and manage projects to successful outcomes.

You move swiftly, are agile and able to quickly adapt whilst balancing immediate demands of a B2B sales cycle, with long term product and roadmap planning. So it goes without saying, really, that you have solid experience managing B2B products. And are heavily skewed towards go-to-market product management.

You have passion and understanding of the online education sector, with a desire to help organisations address their workforce development needs and goals. And finally, you have a great sense of humour (we laugh a lot here), grace under pressure and a love of digital tech!

Sounds great! Tell me about the role?

Reporting to the Director of Product & Workforce Development you’ll be critical to the success and growth of our B2B and workforce development products. This newly created role will need to work across all aspects of the product lifecycle, with a strong focus on mapping out product propositions for employers looking to upskill their staff. 

Drawing on your solid collaboration skills, you’ll spend a lot of time supporting the B2B sales team, as well as working with other teams across RMITO to establish tools, processes, platform requirements and product definition for our expanding B2B product offerings, with a strong focus on micro-credentials for workforce development.

With responsibility for all aspects of defining, managing and growing the Workforce Development products and services to a B2B audience, you’ll have a strong focus on go-to-market product management and product support for the B2B sales team. The role is responsible for taking B2B products to market and enabling the growth of RMIT Online’s workforce development solutions.

A strong commercial product focus will be required to drive growth in product offerings and enrolments for our Workforce Development solutions. But this commercial focus will also need to be balanced with some core project and product management skills to ensure successful delivery and go to market for new products and customised solutions.

This broad role will be required to support client solution development and project manage some major projects with RMIT Online’s B2B and B2G customers. These projects will include the implementation of bespoke and customised courses and solutions as part of the Workforce Development team.

What’s a week in the life of this role?

Product at RMITO, as in most organisations is super diverse. Your week could look like:

  • supporting B2B sales team to prepare and attend customer meetings
  • work with marketing to prepare and plan high-quality collateral to support B2B products
  • working with the Technology and product teams to map out the platform and feature priorities for enablement across our courses
  • track and report on end to end performance of B2B products across our B2B customers
  • project management activities for strategic client projects
