THE FIRM
This mid-sized commercial law firm has recently been named one of the best places to work in Australia. With a spectacular office located in the heart of the CBD, the firm is part of an advisory firm with a variety of divisions including accounting, wealth management, digital, law and finance to name a few.

THE ROLE
As a Property Paralegal, you will support the partner in the Property team and be involved in all aspects of conveyancing and developments (off the plan and subdivisions), residential, commercial, industrial and retail matters.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Managing your own conveyancing files from start to finish
  • Property development matters including off-the-plan and high-rise apartments
  • Leasing, stamp duty and interstate transactions
  • Preparing and coordinating settlements
  • Liaising with clients and involved parties
  • Manage and undertake PEXA related tasks
  • Billing

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have proven experience working as a conveyancer or property paralegal as well as:

  • Solid experience in all aspects of conveyancing and managing these files from start to finish
  • Experience in development (including off the plan), residential, commercial, apartments, interstate transactions, leasing, stamp duty and broad acre development transactions will be highly regarded
  • High level knowledge of PEXA
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and liaise with key stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
