We have a number of opportunities for experienced Project Geologists in Iron Ore & base metals operations.

The roles will be offered on a FIFO basis from Perth only.

The core responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, implement and manage exploration programs.
  • Collecting high-quality exploration data, maintaining databases, and providing geological interpretations
  • Follow procedures and systems to ensure all activities are conducted safely and high-quality standards are employed for geological data capture and QA/QC management
  • Analysing exploration data, completing geological interpretation and building geological models, ensuring the continued development of the company's resources
  • Assisting with the effective management and execution of surface drill programs (Diamond & RC)
  • Contributing to the improvement of geological models through high-quality mapping, logging, and robust interpretation of the data
  • General field duties will involve surface mapping and sampling, drill supervision, logging and adherence to QAQC and OHSE Standards.
  • Generation of maps, data interpretation and report writing.

The successful candidate MUST have:

  • Field experience as a mineral exploration geologist.
  • Experience managing exploration drilling programs.
  • Tertiary Qualification or higher in the field of Geology.
  • Proven experience in a field-based exploration role.
  • Solid understanding of geological techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficient in the use of geological software packages including QGIS and Micromine.
  • Dedication to operating with a high level of safety leadership.
