JOB DESCRIPTION

Our listed energy sector client is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to join their team during this high growth phase. Working across all aspects of the companies legal, governance and risk matters, particularly infrastructure and projects work, you will have exposure to varied and interesting work and excellent development and growth opportunities.



Client Details

Our client is a privately held energy sector business working across Australia's three largest states. They are currently undertaking exciting new innovative projects and are in a period of big expansion, offering the successful candidate a dynamic working environment.



Description

The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Legal Counsel and will be required to work across the following areas including (but not limited to):

  • Provide accurate and timely counsel on all legal aspects;
  • Provide legal support and advice across all areas of the business;
  • Review and negotiate contracts and associated documents for major infrastructure projects;
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders; and
  • Work closely with external counsel.





Profile

To be successful in the role we are looking for a Lawyer with experience, ideally within a large-scale corporation or top-tier private practice background with;

  • 5-7 years post-admission experience; and
  • Broad experience across any of the following legal sectors infrastructure / projects and/or energy.
