About the Role

Our Client is a medium sized fabrications company seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a shutdown commencing immediately. You will be a Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter with relevant experience conducting maintenance duties along with installations of pipework and valves. This shutdown is expected to last for 1 month working Monday - Saturday, 12 hour shifts on dayshift. The successful candidate will also hold their Working at Heights and EWP along with a Construction White/Blue card. All successful candidates will be required to pass a D&A test before commencing.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Fitter works

  • Fault finding and maintenance

  • Installation of pipework and valves

  • Connecting pipe supports and equipment

  • Working at various heights on platforms

  • Following strict safety standards

  • Working apart of a team

Skills and Experience

  • MUST be a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter

  • MUST have a Construction White Card

  • MUST have Working at heights & EWP

  • Previous shutdown experience is ideal

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

  • Current resume with a minimum of 2x work related references

  • Drivers License and reliable transport

  • Available for an immediate start
