JOB DESCRIPTION

Being solutions-focused, the HR Advisor partners with line managers to provide guidance and coaching across areas of the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on recruitment. The successful candidate will need to be proactive and professional with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and seniority levels within and outside the organisation.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Ensuring a current and authorised position description is available for every new position
  • Raising Approvals to Recruit and creation of advertisements are in accordance with company procedures
  • Developing interview guides reflective of competencies required for each role advertised
  • Ensuring appropriate compliance requirements are undertaken in the recruitment process
  • Maintaining business development opportunities with external recruitment and labour hire agencies to best place HSE with the best candidates
  • Monitoring candidate management through the recruitment process and generating employment letters
  • Developing strategies to engage talent pipelines focused on diversity initiatives
  • Ensure the employee on-boarding experience and induction are coordinated
  • Representing and promoting HSE as an employer of choice
  • Assist the People and Capability Manager to identify, establish, improve and maintain people-related processes and projects

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • HR Degree or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated capacity to recruit multiple roles in a fast-paced environment (minimum of 5 years)
  • Previous experience in high-volume blue-collar recruitment
  • Current open driver’s licence
  • Sound project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
